The Next Chapter Begins

And so we begin to begin again.

We are finally starting on our long-long-long (and did I mention "long") awaited journey to bring home our second daughter. A trip that has been many years and piles of paperwork in the making.

Since we are still going over all of the packing lists, to-do lists and various other checklists in preparation for embarking on this trip in a couple of days, this post is a bit on the short side. Wish us luck as we try to get far too much stuff into far too few bags and navigate the joys of air travel today with a five year old in tow.

Of course, what is waiting for us in China will make this part all worthwhile.
